One room is a real job to us.
We mention it because people in small communities sometimes assume a carpet company won't drive out for anything less than a whole house. A place that keeps changing
Porter Heights had its own airfield for years, the old North Houston Airport, a small general aviation strip. It was sold to a developer and closed in 2021, so that stretch of land won't look the same for long. FM 1314 is filling in with new businesses heading toward the Grand Parkway. The community itself is still quiet, and its school lines are split between two districts, with part of it inside the Porter High attendance zone.
Getting here from Humble is an easy run up US-59, and a one-room ticket is worth the drive to us.
How we clean when we get there
First the walk-through and the price. Then the technician pre-treats any spots and cleans with a carbonated, plant-based solution that brings dirt up to where the machine can grab it. There's very little water involved, so a cleaned room is usually ready to use again in about an hour. For a one-room job, that means the whole visit fits inside a morning.
